Jason Norton, CRPC®
Founder, Norton Financial, Inc. Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor
Since 2004, Jason Norton has been helping clients navigate into and through retirement. His step-by-step approach to building and preserving wealth is the foundation of his commitment to guiding individuals through the retirement and wealth planning process as an independent advocate.
As an experienced wealth management advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Jason understands the unique challenges individuals, families, and business owners face in today’s uncertain economy. He believes that creating customized, goal-oriented portfolios focused on maximizing returns with minimal volatility is key to establishing realistic, sustainable long-term retirement strategies — strategies designed to generate reliable income while still offering growth potential.
Jason is committed to continuous education and makes himself readily available to answer questions and adapt to his clients’ evolving financial needs. He believes that delivering an elevated client experience is one of the most important aspects of his work. In 2021, he was featured in The New York Times in an article exploring how perceptions of wealth have shifted since the COVID-19 pandemic.
LPL Financial recently announced Jason’s inclusion in the 2025 Chairman’s Club, an elite honor awarded to less than 3% of the firm’s more than 28,000 financial advisors nationwide and based on annual production. Jason is celebrating his 22nd year in the financial services industry.
Jason graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of West Georgia in 2004, after earning his A.S. in International Business from Young Harris College in 2002.
He and his family have called Carroll County home since 2002. Jason is the proud father of a 17-year-old daughter and two energetic sons, ages 14 and 12. The Norton family enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and time at the ballfield or a favorite fishing or hiking spot. An avid hiker and traveler, Jason aims to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks — with Glacier, Rocky Mountain, and Grand Teton ranking among his favorites. He also enjoys cycling the Carrollton GreenBelt several times a week.
Jason serves as a Trustee of Young Harris College, where he was once a beneficiary of the YHC Local Scholarship Fund. His passion for helping students from the north Georgia mountains pursue higher education remains strong. As Vice-Chairman of the Board of Associates for KidsPeace in Bowdon, GA, Jason advocates for early intervention programs and is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth move forward in life.
